Most of my experience in drafting and design was at the project level, mostly as a contractor. This enabled me to experience various types
of design and to be a part of numerous types of projects from the electrical and mechanical perspective.
My technical school education set the foundation for my work in the trade. A four-year training on the basics of drafting and design by a
mechanical PE in a technical school curriculum. When entering the work force, I was able to be exposed to projects that would build the
basis of knowledge that I have today. Using Autocad I was able to create drawings for production or revision.
I have also attended many continuing education classes to expand my knowledge.
I am looking for an opportunity to be part of a successful professional organization that stresses teamwork and longevity in the field of design
and engineering.
I hope to continue my base of knowledge and possibly get the chance to help others when the opportunity arises. I don’t think I will have all
of the answers to all of the questions but I like to think I can contribute in a team environment to help find some answers.
In the fall of this past year I have exposed myself to a new drafting and design software Revit at the local college. A very powerful program
for design.
I am looking forward to a chance to continue to learn as the opportunity presents itself. Please feel free to contact me with any questions
about my experience, I look forward to the opportunity to meet new people.
Sincerely
Brian J. Clark
